5 Beauty Products I LOVE!

Hey guys!

Here is just a quick post on 5 beauty products I use pretty much every day & couldn't live without!

Here goes, in no particular order..

1. Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub,  £4.95/25g, Lush

They say:
"The pink all things girly, bubblegum flavour lip scrub. Clears dead skin and flakiness from lips, leaving them moisturised and smooth. Our lip scrubs are made from castor sugar to act as a gentle scrub and jojoba oil to be wonderfully moisturising but light enough not to leave you feeling greasy. Keeps lips in tip top condition, for kissing, pouting, talking or anything else you wish to do with them."

I say:
I absolutely love this!! For a start it tastes absolutely devine - its so hard to resist just eating the whole thing! If you want a lip scrub that will have you licking your lips then this is definately for you. I get a small amount on my finger and gently rub onto my lips, then when the scrub residue is all off I apply a moisturising balm and voila! Lovely smooth moisturised lips!

2. Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy Anti-Breakage Serum, Boots

They say:
"Transform your hair into silky smooth locks with this exclusive blend of antioxidant rich organic coconut oil along with rich keratin proteins that infuse to strengthen the hair, while organic avocado oils and cocoa butter smooth the cuticle for straight, strong tresses. Organix Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Anti-Breakage Serum prevents breakage and keeps your locks glossy with a healthy looking glow."

I say:
If you have bonded hair extensions, you need this product in your life. Ive tried finding this on the Boots website with unfortunately no luck - I bought mine from there a while back, but you can buy it on Amazon here.

When I had bonded hair extensions I found they went dry and split very quickly, so someone suggested buying a serum with keratin. So the next time I went to Boots it was 3 for 2 on hair products, so after buying a heat protector and a Mark Hill conditioner, this little beauty caught my eye and turned out to be the cheapest one so I basically got it free! I cant remember how much it would have been though. Anyway, I got home washed my hair & put this on afterwards - I found it quite thick compared to other serums i'd used but I dont know weather thats a good or a bad thing? Anyway when my hair dried it was A MILLION TIMES easier to brush and felt like silk - not bad for free! Even though now I havent got extensions I still use this to keep my own hair healthy.

3. Tweezerman Slant Tweezers, £16.24

They say:
"Top eyebrow artists always recommend the original, award-winning Slant for expert brow shaping. The perfectly aligned, hand-filed precision tips are slanted to grab every hair."

I say:
Before I start let me just say - I'm sure I didn't pay £16.24 for these, more like £12? But that's what i'm getting from Amazon, and you can buy these here. Anyway, you always hear that Tweezerman are the daddy of all tweezers and let me tell you they're not wrong! I adore these tweezers soo much, and the fact they're hot pink makes me love them even more. They get even the tiniest hairs! I'm looking into buying another pair so I can put this old, beaten up pair in my handbag as a spare. Think I've had these about 2 years now and they're still going strong. Definitely worth the investment!

4. Max Factor Facefinity Compact, £10.99, Boots

They say:
"Max Factor Facefinity Compact is Max Factor's longest lasting foundation for great coverage all day."

I say:
If I had to choose 3 items of make-up to take to a desert island with me, this would definitely be one of them (alongside my brow pencil and eyelashes!). I find that with alot of powders, when applied over foundation they can leave a powdery look - not this one. To tell the truth, i'm nowhere near a natural beauty, I like things fake, my hair, eyelashes, tan, nails.. you name it, so my everyday make-up consists of foundation with a powder on top, and the first time I used this I was very impressed with how well it looked on my skin - even more so when I used it without foundation. Unlike a lot of powders, even without foundation this compact still provided a flawless coverage which I loved, so shortly after I started to just use this on its own without a base foundation and was very impressed with the coverage results - and that's coming from someone with awful, pale skin covered with blemishes! This has definitely became a classic for me now, I could not live without it!

 5. Rimmel Professional Eye Brow Pencil, £2.99, Boots

They say:
"Professional Eyebrow Pencil is used to enhance and refine the shape of the eyebrows. It can be used to fill gaps or lengthen the arc of the eyebrow to create the desired look."

I say:
And last but certainly not least, my eye brow pencil! When I was a kid I always had thick black brows that I hated so when I got into high school I plucked them all out, they actually looked disastrous. Cant beleive I went out of the house looking like that, seriously I had like half an eye brow on each side.. #fail. Anyway, a couple of years ago I began drawing my eyebrows on & just shaving the real ones off? (dont ask) untill about a year ago I actually started growing some but as they were over-plucked & shaved they took a while to actually grow into some kind of shape & were reeeeeally thin! It makes me cringe that this was actually not that long ago. Anywho in about January of this year I started noticing HD brows and how good they looked, and due to the thick dark eyebrow hair that I was cursed with it luckily didnt take me long to actually grow some brows - yipee! Although now I have my own eyebrows I still cant leave the house without just defining them with one of these little bad boys, and at £2.99 you cant really go wrong!
